'Mackies: For the people, By the people' is a project that relies on one basic concept: a community-led model of living. The aim of this model is to develop a community capable of tackling all the challenges that currently affect the people in terms of housing, social inclusion, employment, climate change and other relevant issues. Very Nice unit proposal and concept. The agricultural places feel pushed away on the side and are awkwardly located in the middle of the river though . (East agriculture vs west). Also, curious to know how tall energy towers would work for everyone and how they would be afforded

Beautiful Minds have produced an intimate neighborhood that strongly translates "TAKE BACK THE CITY". Can be easily phased into doable stages. The existence of cores (vertical circulation module) will practically limit the flexibility claimed by the respected architect. I noticed there is no "landmark" in the proposal and I do not know whether it is a requirement or not.

The site layout is appealing but there is a danger in all the block’s seemingly being in a constant state of flux that it would be a difficult place to live/a constant building site that may never be finished.

Not my favourite but another great design. Imagine insted of putting money into the likes of Tribeca we backed this kind of thing for Belfast. Well done Take Back the City. Fingers crossed the people in power listen for all our sakes.

The ‘neighbourhood perspective 3’ image really does it for me. I’ve lived in the west all my life and never seen plans like this. I’ve loads of questions like how it would be done and how much it would cost but imagine living in a place that changed all the time with the climate. Class.

Love the overall layout and use of renewables.. Large scale composting is a plus and a generous amount of space set aside for sustainable food production.. Would like to see detail on how that land would be used, for the community to produce food in a sustainable and community led way.

I really like some of the concepts but would like to see more about what this would actually mean for residents. The renewable energy suggestion is great but I would have liked to have seen more about how green space will be cultivated and used with the housing developments
